Ecstasy

Ecstasy, popularly known as a club drug, is a synthetic drug with hallucinogenic properties.

Some common nick-names for Ecstasy are: E, Adam, X, XTC, MDMA and Eve. Tablets are often branded or stamped with an attractive logo.  For example: Nike, CK, Apple, clover, star, butterfly, Mercedes, smiley-face, X’s, etc.  Some of the images

Some of the short term effects of abusing Ecstasy are: Distorted perception, lockjaw, chills, sweating, increased body temperature, severe dehydration, hyperthermia, insomnia, anxiety and depression.

Some of the long term effects of abusing Ecstasy are: Memory loss, mood regulation, appetite & pain regulation, kidney failure, liver failure, or cardiovascular failure.
